Mary is a junior in her second year of the Creative Writing Program, and she’s excited to see what this year brings! She’s been published every year of high school in Kinkaid’s student anthology Falcon Wings and also helped in the publishing process last year. Additionally, she received an Honorable Mention and a Silver Key at Scholastic last year. Mary participated in the Common Young Writers Program over the summer and is also president of the Creative Writing club this year. When she’s not frantically attempting to make writing deadlines after literal months of procrastination, you can find Mary unsuccessfully avoiding practicing clarinet or baking a copious amount of sweet treats.
